When it comes to radio and the promotion of Jazz music, there aren’t a whole lot of places left to go for an artist to have their music heard. The Jazz world has a group of very dedicated promoters keeping the flame burning and serving a passionate audience at terrestrial radio (about a 75-station panel) and now online as well.
With the recent news of LIVE365 closing their doors, their doors, has left a number of online programmers of all formats scrambling, looking for new homes. A number of them were Jazz outlets which doesn’t help the situation much. What’s In-Store Music is here to help. Herb Alpert has three songs placed with WISM: “Cheeky” 6,695 impressions, Night Ride, 6,769, "Walkin’ Tall" 6,810. That's a total of 20,724 impressions ... in one week!
Mitchell Coleman Jr. has one song, “Secrets,” with 7,820 impressions in one week!
