"The song Human Kind was born from my frustration of the way people treat each other online - specifically Twitter. It's almost as if we have to come to defaulting to a mean spirited point of view. You never know what someone is dealing with. It could be dealing with an illness or the loss of a loved one. You just never know. And it works both ways. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Choose kindness. From a production aspect - I was in love with Caitlin Evanson's talent from everything she'd done with Taylor Swift. I just knew that she was the right voice for this song. I reached out and she was into the project right away. When I received the stems back from her I was completely blown away. It really felt like we had something special with Human Kind." - Tommy Marz
