One of the great Memorial Day activities in Topanga Canyon is the annual Topanga Days Festival which celebrates 50 years this year. What's In-Store Music's Bob Catania and his wife Karen made their annual pilgrimage there this weekend and enjoyed the wonderful community spirit on display. The festival features great food; vendors; and of course…amazing music. Bob & Karen got there just in time to hear a set from longtime participants, Venice (pictured), who mixed original songs along with many great classics that had the crowd dancing and singing along. The festival is also known for being a great hang-out for many of the old-time hippies who live in the canyon, and they were out in force, as you can clearly see by our friend on the right here.
