Pitch In To Help Ukrainian Refuges Who Made It To US!!

Our good friends, Ben and Clarissa Brooks, have launched a GoFundMe campaign for the Shpak family of seven Ukrainian refugees, who recently arrived in LA.. The Shpak family escaped Ukraine thanks to the heroic efforts of Clarissa's client Alina Vasylyeva who orchestrated and paid for college roommate Viktoria Shpak and her family to escape Kyiv, travel to Poland, then Mexico City, and finally Tijuana where they crossed the border into the US. For now the Shpak's are living at Alina's home in Pasadena.

Clarissa stated, "The Shpak family has now been in the United States for 2 weeks. Like many other Ukrainians, they fled their home, their city, and their country in order to survive. They have lost everything: their homes, belongings, jobs, financial resources, schools, friends, extended family, and communities. As the Shpak's struggle to cope, they are also filled with deep appreciation for the help and compassion that others have shown them."

Viktoria is married to Yevhen and they have a 17-year-old son Stanislav (almost forced to stay in Ukraine to join the army) and a 3-year-old son Nazar. Viktoria also has a brother Ihor and both her elderly parents, Viktor & Nadia. Her father is disabled and has diabetes. Clarissa and Ben have recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to help this family. To donate, and for an update on the Shpak family of 7 Ukrainian refugees, go to: Gofund.me
